Struggling to get your children to eat those all important 5 a day? Fear not we’ve enlisted the help of our friends at Sneaky Veg to bring you some wholesome, healthy family dinner ideas. Trying to find some healthier snack alternatives this Christmas? Our friends at Sneaky Veg have come up with a great guilt free version of the traditional jaffa cake that’s bound to be a hit with all the family!
Jaffa cakes are traditionally little sponge cakes topped with orange jelly and chocolate. These healthier versions actually don’t contain any cake at all, instead the base is made with lots of lovely oats and no refined sugar, making them a great snack for you and your little ones. These bars are also dairy free and vegan – but just be sure to buy vegan chocolate.
We love making these adorable strawberry Santa’s at Christmas and they make a fun dessert to make with young children too!
